Default approx age on mower?

My latest acqusition is a Woods "Mow'n Machine" model 1250. 12 HP Kohler Magnum (IDK if its orig to the mower) I THINK a 44" deck.

any idea how old this thing is? Its the same as an equivalent Grasshopper-brand mower.

numbers are (off of deck itself no numbers seen on the mower body)

Model D 4412 Serial 005122

IDK if this Kohler is the orig engine on there; can you tell? I saw 2 of these on Ebay in the past few weeks; one with a Magnum the other had a K 301.
I cannot read the numbers from the engine, they are rubbed off (throttle cable rubs shroud there where the sticker sits)

whats avail as far as a bagger (prefer good/used) or can something else be adapted?
opinion on Gator vs standard blades? (plan on doing 95% "mowing/blowing" even if I do find a bagger; I want that mostly for fall leaf season)

I found out where teh ID plate is supposed to be on the mower frame; I see the 2 rivets are still there but no tag.

bump; since I can't find the ID plate on the "tractor" ( I did find the spot where it was supposed to be) could I get an ID on the deck, since I am thinking there is a really good chance that this deck is the same one it was "born with"; for future parts reference, since I do see some parts listed as "up to" and "after" a certain serial number; maybe a positive ID on the deck as to age, may either "corss reference" as to the model/serial number of the rest of the machine that it was originally attatched to, or (2) at least give me an age to tell whether this unit is "up to" or "after".
